Here at CSE, our staff are highly trained in all matters pertaining to auto repair, maintenance, fabrication and restoration…and we’re here to serve you. Please meet our technical staff below, and we think you’ll agree that our respective backgrounds clearly reflect our passion for automotive work.
Bill Sherwood, owner
Bill Sherwood, owner of CSE, is all about cars through and through. Bill got his start in race car fabrication at a young age, building and racing go-karts, off-road racers and drag racing cars. In the mid-70’s Bill got his start in Volkswagens, after building a dune buggy for a friend. The story goes that once he was done with the dune buggy, he had to have his own…thus sparking a major interest in VWs. A VW parts business then blossomed, which eventually turned to a VW repair business. Since then, CSE has grown to encompass the repair and maintenance of any make or model car. Still active in automobile racing, Bill has many class championship titles in SCCA autocross and track events, and also in 1/4 mile circle track racing (Thunder car class). Now, we were certainly telling the truth when we said that Bill is all about cars through and through!!!
Jim Garner, Auto Technician
The story goes that Jim got his start in cars push starting his Dad’s ’47 Ford Coupe….and it was all downhill from there (pun intended). Jim got his start like most of us did…working on cars in his spare time which eventually turned into a career. Jim’s main interest has always been Mopar muscle cars, of which he’s worked on many. Educated at Middle Bucks VoTech, Jim is ASE certified and has been working at CSE for around 12 years. When he’s not expertly repairing cars at CSE, he spends his time playing saxophone for the local rock band, Slightly Bent. Check out their website at http://www.slightlybent.org, where you can here his smokin’ sax playing and check out where their next gig will be!!
